Robert Marshall became President and CEO of Hendrick Home for Children in Abilene, Texas in December 2021. From 1999 – 2021, Robert Marshall was with Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and Girlstown, USA. His last position was Vice President of Operations. Robert graduated from McMurry University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1992. He attained his Masters in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University in 1994. He has licenses from the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Childcare Administrator. He is also a certified Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association Therapist.

Hendrick Home was established in 1939 by Thomas and Ida Hendrick. The 52-acre campus provides residential and therapeutic support to approximately 100 youth and adults from all socio-economic backgrounds. Hendrick Home cares for children and families at no cost. The professional team at Hendrick Home is committed to working with children and families to provide a collaborative partnership in the best interest of the children.

Robert is a member of the statewide organization, Texas Coalition of Homes for Children and is a board member for the international Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. He is active with the Abilene Chamber of Commerce through the Military Affairs Committee.

Robert and his wife, Shannon, have two daughters, a son in law, and two grandchildren. They are members of Wylie Methodist Church.
