Debra is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts from Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey; a Master’s in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey; and a Master’s in Counseling from Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. First certified by EAGALA IN 2009 and Advance Certified in 2012, some of her participants in equine assisted services have included: adults in early recovery from substance abuse; veterans with post traumatic stress (Man O’ War project); teens at-risk; corporate members in times of reorganization/expansion; college sports teams for enhanced team building; and individuals experiencing a variety of mental health issues (depression, trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, etc).Debra has presented at the EAGALA conference in the classroom and the arena.
