Initial Certification is the first step to becoming an Eagala-certified professional. It includes completing the Eagala Fundamentals Training, meeting role requirements (MH/ES), and submitting your certification documents.
Renewal Certification is required every two years to maintain active Eagala status. Renewal includes:
- Completing 20 Continuing Education (CE) hours
- Ensuring 3 of those hours are ethics CEs
- Submitting your updated Professional Development Portfolio (PDP)
- Keeping membership information current
You can earn CE credit from recorded Eagala Education Hour (formely Global Member Meetings):

- 2. After 72 hours: CE available through the Eagala Store with a $15 administrative fee.
- 3. Full schedule and links are available through Eagala Education Hour updates.
