Director of the CWA Union Assistance Program for over 25 years assessing and referring Verizon workers and their families to inpatient and outpatient mental health or substance abuse treatment in New York City and the surrounding counties in New York State. 2003 joined Liberty Behavioral Health as a Regional Representative for Union Workers in the tri-state area referring clients to Arms Acres in Carmel, NY, Conifer Park in Glenville, NY and Holliswood Psychiatric Hospital in New York City. Founder and Director of Relatively Stable, LLC in Newtown, CT providing Eagala Model Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Eagala & the 12 Steps Workshops and Team Buildings with his co-facilitators: Vicki Smith, M.S. CMHC, NCC, LPC, CCTP. Ellen Donaghey, LCSW, CASAC 2, Lisa DiDomenico, Equine Specialist and Stefanie King, Equine Specialist. Jimmy is also an Eagala Trainer and Mentor since 2008.
From 2010, provided Eagala Model Psychotherapy for the patients in the Military Wellness Unit at Holliswood Psychiatric Hospital until the hospital closed in 2013. Eagala sessions for the Montrose VA PTSD Unit serving the military clients with PTSD and other co-occurring mental health issues in 2015.
Also provided Eagala Model Services for the families, first responders and school personnel from the Sandy Hook School Shooting Tragedy working for the Embrace Hope Foundation starting in 2013.
Starting in 2010 and currently provides Eagala Model Sessions at Arms Acres Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, 3 sessions per day, 3 days per week for the adult male, female and Eagala Workshops with a Women’s Veteran’s Group from Castle Point and Montrose VA’s in 2021.
Beginning in 2020 and currently providing Eagala sessions for the Putnam County Treatment Court clients at Windhorse Stables in Brewster, NY. (formerly known as Putnam County Drug Court)
Beginning in 2021 and currently providing Eagala sessions for Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT) in Bridgeport, CT.
