Financial Disclosure & Accountability Report
For the first time in many years, Eagala is voluntarily releasing its most recent audited financial statements (for fiscal years 2023 and 2024), along with the organization’s filed 2024 Form 990. This step is taken in the spirit of transparency and accountability to our members, partners, and supporters. These documents reflect a challenging two-year period in which the organization experienced significant operating losses, erosion of reserves, and structural financial weaknesses that required urgent attention. The audits were completed by an independent accounting firm in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and provide a clear, factual record of the organization’s financial position during that time.
In response to the significant, concerning financial story reflected in these documents, Eagala’s reconstituted Board and leadership have taken deliberate steps to stabilize operations, strengthen financial oversight, and implement corrective measures aimed at restoring long-term sustainability. While the impacts of prior decisions are evident in the 2023 and 2024 results, early indicators from 2025 suggest meaningful progress toward recovery, with improved controls, clearer financial reporting, and a renewed focus on responsible governance.
